What is Almond Flour?
It is made from Ground Almonds. The process includes blanching the almonds in hot water (the process allows the skins to slide off easily), peeling the skin, grinding and sifting it into a fine powder. Being extremely nutritious is generally is more beneficial than the common Flour.

How to Use Almond Flour in Baking
Almond flour is easy to use in baking. In most of the recipes flour which is commonly known as Maida, can be replaced with Almond Flour. Also, since Almond Flour is Gluten free which helps the cake to rise, an Almond Flour Cake is denser and flatter.
Due to its in-numerous health benefits and its richness we at Layers, bake our cakes with only Almond Flour. There is absolutely no Maida used in our cakes.
